The Clinique Générale-Beaulieu

Private hospital in Geneva – To reach perfection, primarily through respect for human beings

Clinique Générale-Beaulieu’s aim is to provide the most effective form of care available, by ensuring a maximum of safety, comfort and ease. This pursuit of excellence has led us to create the first clinic in French speaking Switzerland to be awarded the ISO 9001 standard certificate.

Even more important, however, is that for whatever reason a patient comes to us, we never lose sight of the fact that each patient has his or her own expectations and shows every confidence in the Clinic providing the care. This, for us, is most definitely the greatest and pleasantest of tasks.

Geneva is the seat of a number of major internationals and the second largest city in Switzerland to host around 25 governmental international organisations and more than 200 non-governmental international organisations. Geneva is linked to Europe’s capital cities by its international airport. Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is a modern building situated in a residential area near the city centre. Located high on the wooded cliffs of the Arve River, the Clinic dominates the Vessy plain and offers a magnificent view of the nearby Salève and Voiron mountains. Founded in 1899, Clinique Générale-Beaulieu has 130 beds, all in very large and light single or double rooms and suites, with en-suite bathrooms. Every year, more than 6’000 inpatients and 30’000 outpatients are treated. Clinique Générale-Beaulieu is also attentive to the right balance between the size of the establishment and the number of beds and members of the staff. Thus is possible to respond to patient’s needs at all times and to ensure that they have every opportunity to discuss the relevant details of their case with the medical staff.

The chef and his team use only the freshest of products to prepare a range of delicious full or lighter meals served in the comfort of the bedroom or in the Clinic’s cafeteria. On arrival at the Clinic, each patient has the opportunity to advise our staff of their specific tastes or dietary regimes, so that a “tailor-made” menu can be provided.
